Funding Approach

1) EPLI does not transfer funds directly to governments or individuals. Resources are directed through vetted local and international partner organizations with demonstrated capacity, accountability, and alignment with EPLI’s pediatric emergency priorities. Funding is guided by evidence, defined program objectives, and clear reporting expectations.

2) EPLI collaborates with organizations that share our commitment to child-centered impact, ethical practice, and transparency. Partners are assessed based on legal standing, program experience, safeguarding standards, and financial accountability. EPLI seeks to complement—not duplicate or compete with—existing implementation efforts.

3) EPLI prioritizes the ethical use of data. We work with aggregated, anonymized information and do not collect or publish personally identifiable data about children. Data shared through EPLI platforms is used to support learning, coordination, and evidence-informed decision-making, in accordance with applicable ethical standards.

4) EPLI upholds a zero-tolerance approach to harm, exploitation, or abuse of children. We expect all partners to adhere to recognized child safeguarding principles and to maintain policies and practices that protect the safety, dignity, and rights of children in all settings.
